We are very pleased to have been chosen by Homerswood Nursery and Primary School in Welwyn Garden City as their "Organisation of the Year" 2014-2015. The project involves one visit per term to Sherrardspark Wood where the children learn about plant life, wildlife, geography of the wood and conservation.

The first visit was on 16 October and six groups of children, aged between four and ten, accompanied by teachers and parents, were learning the skill of tree identification with our experts. The children were also able to see our Thursday working party in action.

The visit went very well and the children made a special "thank you" card to say how much they enjoyed it.

The next event is a Treasure Hunt in February 2015.
