Acute Oak Decline poses a serious threat to native oak species in the UK and is of significant concern to the timber industry.  Scientists from Rothamsted Research and Forest Research are now working in our wood to test whether the beetles responsible can be trapped and the disease controlled in this way.  Read all about this work here.
