There is a glorious display of daffodils and snowdrops at the Ayot St Peter old churchyard following the work to clear undergrowth last autumn, with which the Wood Wardens helped.

Valerie Richards has written to us on behalf of the local volunteers:

"There are simply masses of daffodils coming through. It’s actually very difficult to walk about without crushing them – I’ve been jumping from one empty patch to another!  Thank you all again so very much for all your help and hard work. The churchyard looks very nice now (although of course I know it will grow back to jungle again over the summer!)."
